I recently had the privilege of staying at a beautiful self-catering cottage in a fantastic location. Gate Cottage is exquisitely decorated, stylish, and comfortable. the attention to detail is impeccable, and the owners have truly thought of everything. the cottage has a lovely garden at the front and back, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. there is a private courtyard exclusively for the use of the cottage's occupants. the location is superb, just a short walk from the harbor and offering access to stunning shoreline walks. There is also a delightful pub and café nearby. I can't wait to return to this home away from home. Cons: Cannot find any fault with this incredible cottage! 😊.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. the location was perfect, with the coast just a stone's throw away. the cottage itself was beautiful and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the owners were friendly and welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. the little garden was a lovely addition, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine.
One thing that bothered us was that the fridge hadn't been properly cleaned and had a lingering smell of fish. We didn't bother mentioning it to the owners as we assumed it was a one-off oversight.

Great location near Chichester and the coast. Beautifully decorated and stylishly furnished, felt like a home away from home. Owners were friendly and nearby for key collection.
Second bedroom was in a loft with an extremely steep staircase. Not suitable for less agile individuals and no prior mention or photos of this.

The location of this cottage was exceptional, with plenty of nearby attractions to explore and great walking opportunities in the area. The cottage itself was well-equipped, comfortable, and warm, making it a cozy retreat. The double mattress was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. there was ample hot water, which was a nice convenience.
The access to the twin room, which was up a very steep staircase. This may be a challenge for those with mobility issues or young children.

We had a lovely Easter break in a beautiful cottage. The hosts were friendly and helpful, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The cottage was well-equipped and clean, and the little touches like fresh milk and biscuits were a nice touch. The location was also great, with a good pub nearby and easy access to attractions like Chichester and the Witterings. The quiet surroundings added to the peaceful atmosphere of our stay.
One thing to note is that the second bedroom is a loft-style room, which may not be ideal for less agile guests. the staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom is quite steep, so it's important to be cautious when using it.

The bed was really comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get a good night's sleep. The location was great for walks, with plenty of beautiful scenery to explore. Plus, there were two nice pubs nearby for a drink or a meal.
The cleanliness of the sofas and chairs wasn't up to par, and they had a dusty feeling. The second bedroom had steep stairs that were only suitable for children around the age of 8, making it inconvenient for adults.
